My work in a broader sense experiments with how to recognize the physical reality and recreate it in the realm of painting. Furthermore, I have an interest in expression of limited situations, which can be physical or sometimes political.

This interest comes from my personal physical situation. When I was a child I got an eye surgery because of my infantile cataract. After this surgery, I don’t have eye lenses and see out of focus and blurry. Due to condition I cannot clearly recognize a person from a distance, and I have experienced fear of sudden and close encounters with people. This has also affected me in recognizing other objects and situations. I became more and more interested in points where limits cognitively linked between physical realm and psychological realm.
